Saturday March 8, 2008. Scott and Laura invited Paddy and I to visit the Hollywood Casino 14 miles north of Hershey, PA off Route 81. We arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon.
We parked in the official Parking Garage and after entering the Casino, this was our view. On this level were a couple of restaurants and on the level above was the Penn National Racetrack.
There was a very comfortable lounge with drinks and live entertainment.
Trying our luck, Scott and Laura were both winners while Paddy and I didn't fair so well. Everything was automated including bill changing machines and payout machines.
There were several totally automated video machines with moving, smiling, well endowed females dealing black jack. When the female on the video deals, the video cards appear under glass and the patrons would push buttons to hold or take a hit etc. Every seat was taken and there was a crowd of guys standing and waiting to sit down at the next opportunity.
Opting for an early dinner, we stopped at the Skybox Sports Bar. The food was good and the view was above the main gambling floor.
The gambling floor was very well appointed. There were gambling machines of every type imaginable and from every domination from a penny to over a hundred dollars a throw.
One last photo before we left. As we exited the parking garage around 6:30 PM, there was a line of cars arriving, I guess we were the early birds. It was a good trip, we will have to return again sometime.
