August 31, 2008. On a spur of the moment, Paddy and I decided to attend the Allentown, PA Fair. We parked inside the grounds and immediately hit the food stands.
Nearby was Elephant rides and pig racing. Some of the pigs entered a swimming pool and the winning pig got an Oreo Cookie. The losers got cookie crumbs.
Entering the 4-H agricultural area, we found unusual things made from pigs.
A big crowd pleaser was the CRAZ-E-CREW stunt team.
There were also "hit and miss engines", kids rides and "street musicians".
One of the favorite attractions at the fair is the Bobby Mercer show. They were very talented and provided over an hour of most enjoyable entertainment.
