May 6, 2010.  After having lunch at the Hotel Bethlehem, my brother Les suggested we visit the Coca Cola Baseball Park, home of the Iron Pigs triple A ball team.  The ballpark seating is over 8000 and in two years, the fans have had an attendance of over 1.2 million.

Down the 3rd base line is a picnic patio for fans.  In the same area are kiddy slides.

The club level and VIP suites looked interesting so we checked it out. Along the hallway were historic memorabilia about the Iron Pigs including a time line of historic events.

There was a large bar in the club area and around the corner was a third base party porch.

Field views were great from every level of the stadium and TV cameras were also on every level.

Strolling the area were many things to view including a huge live TV billboard in center field and some Iron Pigs icons.  (note:  for $6 tickets, fans can bring folding chairs and see the game from that vantage point).

As we were leaving, the batting cage was in place and down near the entrance was several wrestlers preparing for their event show.

Accolades for Coca-Cola Park include:

Ballpark of the year and organization of the year, presented by Ballpark Digest (2008).

2nd highest per-game average attendance in all of Minor League Baseball (2009).
