June 12, 2010. Excellent weather, with lots of cars and lots and visitors.
There are lots of excellent restaurants in Ocean Grove so we stopped at one for lunch. What was very nice was the Doo Wop sound of the RB Express. They were great and sounded like the original records. Like us, many were listening while having lunch.
Back to the cars:
Interesting folks walking around and street artists were also enjoying the day.
June 14, 2008. The weather was perfect. I arrived around noon with an appetite, and stopped at the first restaurant I spotted which was the Sea Grass. The meal was great and the waitresses were very cheerful and outgoing. One of the waitresses spotted my camera and told me of her serious interest in photography, so I had to take her photo and another of her and her co-worker.
After lunch, it was off to see the cars.
Especially nice was the DOO-WOP music by the RB Express. They were fabulous and sounded just like the original groups. They invited a female group to sing a few songs and they were also great. There were a number of cafe's along Main street, in the shade, and in clear view of the singing groups.
I took a short 4 block walk to the ocean to see the beach and then back to the cars.
