June 15-19, 2010.  Not having been at the gardens before, Paddy and I visited on the 15th to check it out.  First set of photos taken with a 70-200 mm lens and a tripod, 2nd set with a handheld 14-24 mm.

There were nice walking paths and the ancient trees were awesome.

The following photos were taken with a 70-200 mm lens and a tripod.

Inside the green houses were many plants and many more flowers.

Re-visited the gardens on June 19th with the photography club.  The following photos were taken with a hand held 14-24 mm lens.

My conclusion:  The 14-24 was somewhat useful, but plants that were not accessible within inches could not be photographed.
