October 16, 2010. The Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church along with Sweet Rides volunteers sponsored an Operation Shoebox collection drive. Operation Shoebox sends snacks, magazines and dozens of other things to the troops as a morale booster. Paddy and I brought 4 shopping bags of stuff for the troops and it felt good to give.
The Sweet Rides volunteers sure had some nice rides to show off today.
The fire department cooked hot dogs and hamburgers and served hot coffee too.
A rare M3A1 Scout Car made an appearance today and the proud owner posed for a photo.
It was a great car show and there was a large collection of items for the troops.
