WALKING AROUND NEW HOPE PENNSYLVANIA

May 24,  2011.  Gary, Bob and I planned an out of town photo trip with the idea that if the logistics worked out, we would plan more trips and invite all club members.

At 10 AM we parked at the Triumph Brewery, next to the New Hope and Ivyland railroad.

We took miscellaneous photos as we headed down West Bridge Street toward South Main Street.

We came upon mannequins in both store windows and on the street.

It was early and businesses were not open but the manager of the Marsha Brown restaurant graciously allowed us inside to take photos.

This is how New Hope got its name:

The founder built a mansion across the street from the mill.

Stores were not open yet, but there were signs of life around town.

The Logan Inn also allowed us to take photos prior to their opening.

At the center square was a 9 inch cannon, but the cannon balls were much larger?

We took a break for lunch at the Triumph Brewery.  Good food and Katie provided excellent service.

After lunch, we continued our tour of New Hope which has some of the most interesting things to photograph.

At the Landing Restaurant, one could get a fine meal or a boat ride on the Delaware.

New Hope Pennsylvania is a fun place to visit and take pictures.
