October 7, 2011. I discovered the Roller Vixens at the Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival (click HERE to view). The Roller Vixens told me that they held practice at an outdoor rink at the Red Bank YMCA on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I had to check it out.
After the Vixens arrived and completed the required text messaging to friends, they limbered up by skating in a relaxed manner around the rink.
The first order of business was a comprehensive series of exercises and skating drills.
Then the Vixens divided into two teams with yellow vests and red vests and competed with one another.
