October 10 2013.  We started the morning with breakfast at the Garden On The Park restaurant at our hotel, the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls, NY.  We headed northeast toward Middletown Springs, VT, Randolph, VT and Springfield, VT.

Along the way, there were many Halloween decorations and nice foliage.

An interesting cemetery.  One of the markers from a husband to his deceased wife, showed a very loving hand with broken chain.

With a recommendation from the general store in Middletown Springs, we had lunch at Sissy's Kitchen, which was just a block away.  As we sat behind Sissy's in the picnic area, two friendly dogs came right up to our chairs and begged for food.  With their sad eyes, they were very good at mooching.

The foliage, barns and churches were nice to see along the roadway.

In Randolph, VT we spotted this unique house and then a Barber shop with my name (Ken Barber).  I had a chat with Gary Chapman, who cuts hair 4 days a week, and he told us that we could find a good cup of coffee at the Three Bean Cafe, since his favorite coffee shop, next to the barber shop was closed.

We continued our drive to Springfield, VT, had an delicious dinner at the 'Fifty Six Main Street' restaurant and settled into the Holiday Express for the rest of the evening.
