April 20, 2014.  A tradition that started in 1935, the 79th annual Easter Parade was a success in bright sunshine.  Arriving early, I didn't find anyone in the Convention Center so I entered the Paramount Theater.  It was really decorated nicely and the awards staff was already in place.

I noticed that the boardwalk was still under construction, so I went to the upper floor, outside balcony of the theater, for a better look.  I found a pretty lady there and I asked her if she know about the parade, seeing that the boardwalk was under construction.  See told me that she was Amy Quinn, a member of the Asbury Park City Council and she gave me a heads up on the parade information.  Amy was kind enough to put on her Easter Bonnet for a photo.

From the balcony, I could see some early arrivals, so I excused myself and went down for photos.  Every photographer on hand, couldn't resist taking photos of this little girl and her two dogs.  Another arrival was this distinguished gentleman in the blue suit.

Outside, the Easter Bunny was giving kids hugs and posing with families for photos.

At 1 PM the master of ceremonies announced that the parade would consist of several divisions: GIRLS, BOYS, WOMEN, MEN, FAMILIES and BONNETS.
