August 9, 2014. Paddy and I had not attended Musikfest for a couple of years and it was time to revisit. We arrived hungry so we headed to the Hotel Bethlehem. As in the past, there was a street musician outside of the hotel.
During our meal, a gentleman at the next table told us to look out the window behind us. Wow, dinosaurs in Bethlehem. The man said they came from the Netherlands. We definitely planned on finding them after our meal.
I must have said something really funny when I took Paddy's photo.
Back on the street, to interesting people and funny hats.
Wow, Forest Gump at Musikfest. He even had his 'box of chocolates' with him.
This flute player was very talented and he produced a very pleasant and unique sound.
I never heard of DEEP FRIED PICKLES before.
We walked down to the lower level of the fest and found the dinosaurs. The folks are from the Netherlands and are part of the theater group CLOSE ACT. If you look real close you can see a couple of actor/dancer's faces inside the dinosaurs. They were getting ready for another walk at the festival.
The actor/dancer's showed tremendous skill and ability to walk in close quarters on stilts inside an 18 foot tall dinosaur.
To me, this theater group of dinosaurs was the highlight of Musikfest. With all the amazing music acts at the fest, this is quite a statement.
Yes, another great time at Musikfest !
