December 27, 2014. At a railroad hobby shop in Camp Hill, PA, we saw a flyer advertising an open house at this historical society, so we checked it out. The model railroad is inside a historic railroad station. The folks running the railroad are very serious, in that they had a train dispatcher and 6 trainmen, who ran the railroad like the real systems. One of the trainman was only 12 years old. The dispatcher would radio one of the trainmen to release his train onto the main line, the trainmen started the trains with wireless remote controls. It was interesting to watch the activities.
