BELMAR SANDCASTLE CONTEST 2009
July 15, 2009. The 23rd annual New Jersey Sandcastle Contest was held in perfect weather at the 18th Street beach in Belmar, NJ. TV news and FM stations covered the event and entertainment buses brought all the equipment for the tents, the music, dancing, hula hoop contests and giveaway prizes.
The artists varied from the professional level to kids making their first sandcastle. It was a lot of fun to see and enjoy.
Other beach activities of the day were swimming, hang gliding, sunbathing and taking photos.
