October 30, 2010. The organizers exceeded their goal of breaking the zombie walker record of 4026. There were clearly more than 5000 folks in costume but not all qualified as zombies. The event started at 11 AM but Paddy and I had a band job in Freehold and didn't arrive until 5:30 PM, yet the zombies were still walking around in full strength.
A lot of imagination went into some of these outfits!
