October 22, 2011. Last year the organizers wanted to break the Guinness World record for the most Zombies. Yep they broke the record and decided not to keep score again until the record is broken by someone else. It looked to me like there were more zombies this year than last.
Having just been married, it was natural that this couple would join the Zombie event for some wedding pictures.
This pretty young lady offered Paddy a seat on the boardwalk, so a couple of photos were in order.
At 5 PM, at convention hall, an announcement was made that the parade would begin and proceed down the boardwalk to Cookman Avenue and down Cookman to the center of town. Two drummers led off the parade.
Not only was the Zombie Walk a fun event, it was good for the restaurants too; Paddy and I had a late lunch at Old Man Raferty's and dinner at Synaxis at the shore.
It was after dark when we headed back toward our car and the Zombies were still walking around.
