RED BANK SIDEWALK SALES 2012

RED BANK, NJ

July 27, 2012 (and July 29 below).  John Tyler, president of the Red Bank photography club, posted an invitation, on Facebook, to take photos in Red Bank today.  It was a nice weather day too.

John and I started on Monmouth Street when we spotted the bear.  After posing a customer with the bear, the owner of the Fragile Earth stuffed animals came out for a photo.

A couple of stores away we found Barbizon and the manager was nice enough to ask one of her lovely models to come out for a photo.

We turned the corner onto Broad Street and walked north, where we started to see our first vendors, who happened to be attractive.

We found a very pretty young lady at Red Ginger.

Shoes anyone??

We continued north on Broad and stopped at Urban Outfitters by Front Street.

Crossing Broad street, now southbound, we met two attractive young ladies selling products.

At Secret Stash, another group was doing a video of some kind.  I remember the last time I saw a video production in front of the store:  three guys had to speak just 3 lines and they took about 25 takes to get it right.  It was hilarious.

Around the Via 45 restaurant we met two guys who looked like bikers.  Bikers, that I have photographed, have several things in common:  1. they look like bikers, 2. they seem to be having a good time, 3. they are always upbeat in their perspective on things.

At Broad and Monmouth, we met this very pretty mom, whose baby just turned 6 months old.

Of the tens of thousands of items for sale today, I had to photograph this???

A lot of potential customers about today.

We tried to photograph most of the vendors today.  I think we got most of them.

SIDEWALK SALES REVISITED ON SUNDAY THE 29TH

As it was on our Friday visit, the attractive young ladies were out, smiling and selling products.

Sidewalk bargains indeed:  30% to 60% off !

As an added bonus, Streetlife was in operation today.  Having heard Sibling Rivalry before, Paddy and I crossed the street to listen.  These two musicians are very entertaining.

Some dogs are really cute.

All the stores were open and some were decorated very handsomely.
